I bought these Matchsticks as soon as I saw them on shopbop.com. You never know what could slip out or come undone, double sided tape can solve a lot of unforeseen problems! I can already see myself using them on my shoes in case my feet start sliding out of them.

Modern Brooches
I adore these Alexis Bittar pins, they are absolutely gorgeous, and being made from lucite, I can hardly resist. These are my favorite!
This Vivienne Westwood brooch would add modern glam to any dress. I love the sophisticated sparkles all balanced from a bone, a nice unexpected take on a traditional brooch.
These brooches by Marni would add fantastic pops of color to a wedding dress, I love the electric blue one. If you can't afford their clothes (I can't) their brooches are a sweet taste of the high life.
How can you resist these little flowers by Chloe, and they are on sale at Saks Fifth Avenue online. If not right for a dress, they would be a cute accessory to gift.
Luckily, I am borrowing a brooch of my sister's that my grandmother gave her. It will be my something borrowed and could be something old, but I have another idea for that. If I weren't able to borrow a brooch, as you can see, there are plenty of gorgeous and cool ones out there!

Emergency Sewing Kit
Browsing through Etsy last night, I came across this cute little emergency sewing kit by Brass Paper Clip. What a perfect little kit, unfortunately there is only one left in her store or I would have bought three for me and my bridesmaids!

Mug Tree
This mug tree would be great for any counterscape. I love the shape and function and how the cut outs work as coasters. Such a clever design!
