Sweet & Simple

I love this baby shower theme inchmark put together, so simple yet sophisticated. Red and blue is a favorite color combination of mine and it works so well as a neutral color theme; we are not finding out the sex of our baby.

A couple of my friends are throwing me a baby shower in early March and these images are very inspiring! Now all I need to do start my baby registry. It is amazing how with our wedding registry, that was one of the first things I did in the planning process. With the baby registry, it is all so foreign to me, to say I am overwhelmed is the understatement of my life! Luckily I have many experienced women in my life that can help. Maybe I will get it done this weekend...

On that note, have a lovely weekend!!!

Fancy Finds

Lately I have been loving short wedding dresses, much more than longer gowns. There is something about them that seems more fun, celebratory, more like a party dress, which I love. This dress in particular is just perfect!

I have to say, The English Dept. sells the perfect boleros for a wedding dress. They are just gorgeous!

Sweetbeets

I adore the simplicity and innocence of these cards and prints by Sweetbeets. The two little people in red is my absolute favorite!

The Amazing El Chorro Ranch

Do you remember this gorgeous ranch wedding I posted about last June? It turns out the couple are starting to rent out the ranch for weddings, photo/film shoots, and events. The ranch is located in Lompoc, California (just north of Santa Barbara). It would be the perfect rustic chic setting for a breathtaking celebration.

For any inquiries, please email Terese and Tom:

Here is a brief history of the ranch:
In March 2006, the Isaacson Family, California Rangeland Trust and the Wildlife Conservation Board secured a conservation easement on the 817-acre El Chorro Ranch. The conservation easement fulfills the desire of Esther Isaacson and her sons Bill, Deming and Bob to keep the land as a working cattle ranch in perpetuity. The Isaacson family purchased the scenic ranch at a public auction held on the steps of the Santa Barbara County Courthouse in 1939. Located along Highway 1 in Santa Barbara County, the El Chorro Ranch possesses unique grazing, farming and ranching resources; remarkable wildlife habitat; and rich oak woodland and riparian areas. The project is one of several collaborative projects between California Rangeland Trust and the Land Trust of Santa Barbara County.
