There are so many things that I have/need to buy for the baby. But what really gets me excited are the things that I want for the baby, like this Alexander Girard alphabet block set. Maybe a few years down the road I can justify a purchase like this, after all it is a learning tool designed by one of my favorite designers of all time, but right now I need to stay focused on the necessities!

A Precious Gift
I came across Mother Stork's Baby Book a while back and am really impressed by it's gorgeous illustrations and beautiful use of typography. What I love most about it is that it isn't too "baby", but really sophisticated and sets a gorgeous framework for all of the fun little moments to come.

Geometric Portraits
I have been a huge fan of the illustration work of Siggi Eggertson for some time now, she has a great sense of color and composition. These geometric portraits are a fresh and modern take on the traditional portrait. Absolutely stunning!
