Our favors are in!

Our custom made favors from Paloma's Nest (they are so perfect!) arrived yesterday and I just had to share the adorable packaging they came in with a bonus ceramic tag. I am going to wait to share them after the wedding, I don't want to spoil the surprise for our guests! 37 days to go...

Ties

Last weekend Patrick and I went and picked up his suit. By the time I went shopping with him he had everything picked out but the tie and since our wedding is not a black tie event, we had lots of fun options to sort through. Although we didn't buy any of these ties, above were some of my favorites.

Tie a Tie

Patrick nor myself know how to to tie a tie, so a helpful salesperson lead us to this instructional website: Tie a Tie. I practiced the half windsor last weekend, still not fully there, but with time it will be! One more to add to my list of skill sets I have learned throughout this wedding planning process!

Wedding Chic

Over the last couple of years I have been totally impressed with J.Crew's growing selection of clothes and accessories, and then more recently came along their wedding suite, which I think is brilliant; they have totally hit the nail on the head. Every time I open a catalog I create a wish list and am constantly impressed with the design direction of their fashion and wedding assortment. These images from their most recent catalog are the epitome of wedding chic.

While browsing through one of my favorite art blogs, Dear Ada, I saw these beautifully composed letters by Neuarmy that get me so excited for warm Spring weather. How perfect would these be to incorporate into a monogram?

Spring Favor Idea

I came across this cute little favor idea at Favors by Lisa. Such a cute little way to incorporate the ever so popular Jordan Almonds or any candy for that matter onto a place setting.
