Sarah Magid's gorgeous creations have been making the blog rounds for a while now but I just had to post her blinged out twinkies. How great are they? All of her creations are creative, colorful, organic and made in Brooklyn, and if you happen to be in Greenpoint she sells her sweets at Jan and Aya.

Monkey's in Montauk

I'm off to Montauk for a long weekend and I thought I would share one of my favorite beach weddings from the Long Island town. The bride, a former set decorator for Sex and the City, came up with an amazing monkey theme soiree. From her and her father (in the monkey suit) arriving to the ceremony by boat, to the incredible grass monkey topiaries hanging from the reception ceiling amidst brightly colored lanterns, this wedding was a visual feast! The bride even grew the monkey topiaries in her parent's backyard! I also love the pink bridesmaid dresses with the tan groomsmen suits, what a great color combo. I can only imagine how much fun it was to be in attendance at this wedding!

Hoot & Heart

I am really drawn to the subtle grey and lavender tones in these flower arrangements from Hoot and Heart. The occasional pops of green and their use of texture are absolutely gorgeous. These are some of my favorite arrangements that I have seen in a wedding to date.

Seconds

I love these dessert plates by Jason Miller, they remind me a lot of another favorite set of plates by Hella Jongerius, but these are much more affordable! They would make a great addition to any table setting and in generations to come, I bet your kids will fight over them.

Marlene & Todd

I am so excited to post this amazing wedding photographed by the talented Karen Mordechai. So many lovely and personal details carried throughout this wedding, my favorite being the modern house that the groom built for the ceremony. Not all grooms sit on the sidelines! Everything from the magenta petals on the perfectly groomed green grass, to the adorable flags on the cupcakes, Marlene and Todd got all of the details right! How gorgeous are her shoes?

Chocolate Pencils

These chocolate pencils by Oki Sato are amazing! How great would they be as favors? The only obstacle, they are sold at a high end chocolate shop in Tokyo. A great reason to go to Tokyo!
