Couture Choiseul

One of my favorite shops in all of Paris was called Couture Choiseul. Sadly, I can't seem to find it's website on the internet, but if you are interested in checking it out next time you are in Paris, it is right across the street from UltraMod (here is the location).

Couture Choiseul had an amazing selection of buttons, tassels, ribbons, trim, you name it, both old and new. A definite dream store for a designer, craft maker and admirer of beautiful things. I wasn't able to get any photos of the inside or products, I was already scarred from getting yelled at one too many times by this point. But I did try to capture the feeling and the beauties inside the store through it's display windows. Why is Paris soooo good?

Note: Thankfully a reader corrected me on the actual name of the store, it is Couture Choiseul and not Mercerie as shown in their window. Thank you Alice from Paris!

*I don't know what I would do with those clothes pins but I need them!

Oh how I love those safety pins! Please tell me you bought them all! I'm not sure what I would do with them, but I am so in love with them, that I'm going to add them to my blog if that's ok.

I don't know why but I've started collecting safety pins. Just the garden variety so far. But now I know that there are pins worth collecting.

It's actually called Couture Choiseul. Mercerie means haberdasher in French.
You're right though, they don't have a website.
