I happen to think thread with ceramic is a great material combination. They compliment each other wonderfully and it is shown in these bud vases from MudPuppy. The woven texture from the thread meshes brilliantly with the hard shiny surface of the vase! These would be great modern gifts for your bridal party!

Color Explosion!
How about a little color explosion to end what turned out to be a gorgeous week here in NYC. Sarah Applebaum's work is amazing - awesome color craziness mixed in with a little pop art nostalgia is the perfect combination in my mind!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Remastered
I am such a huge fan of artist Ninainvorm's work. Her stuff has been everywhere and deservedly so! I love the way she adds whimsy and freshness to the vintage pieces she redecorates. If I could, I would buy everything in her Etsy shop!

Floral Freshness & Fashion
Okay, this bouquet by Brown Paper Design has to be one of my favorites to date. I love the perfect balance of yellow and white. Also the casualness of the bouquet is just so hard to resist if you ask me!
In my opinion, nothing could replace fresh flowers at a wedding, or even in the home. I am not a fan of fake flowers, plants, etc. but I will say that these fabric roses from Allen Company Inc. are a pretty cute option as gifts if you just can't resist!

Eye Candy
Okay - I have to admit, I am a bit late to the amazing, well, let's admit it, perfect work of Aran Goyoaga of the blog Cannelle et Vanille. Her desserts and styling are just breathtaking. Not only are they beautiful to the eye, but she comes from a family of pasty chefs so you can imagine how amazing they taste! She makes these wondrous creations, she styles them and is the eye behind the camera. Amazing, right? So I thought these photos would be a nice way to end the week before a nice long holiday weekend. My mouth is watering....
Happy 4th of July everyone. I hope everyone gets to hang out with their loved ones, have picnics, and eat good food!

Colorful & Gold Ric Rac
Okay , I am a bit obsessed with the Mariachi Ric Rac collection from Kate Spade...It is just so colorful and summery, the perfect accessories for a pretty summer dress - or cute gifts for your bridesmaids! I really really love the rings and how gorgeous would it be to have all of the bangles on your arm!?!

Soft and Fun
Bonjour Mon Coussin has some of the best pillows around. And these particular pillows are the perfect mix of cute and sophistication; the typographic elements are really nice and I love that they appeal to both kids and adults!

Embroidered Simplicity
I am in love with the beautiful and detailed needlework of artist Renilde Depeuter over at her blog At Swim Two Birds! Her embroidery is in a way softly spoken and very simple. I just love it. Isn't it so pretty for a Monday morning? These particular pieces were made when she was only 18!
(please no rain nyc, pretty please.)

Delicate & Pretty
I really love Sydney artist Summerblossom's hair pins, they are meticulously hand crafted with delicate, and luscious materials. I really love the metallic pieces! And best of all? They are generously priced!

For the Travel Elite
I love these new utopia vases from Jonathan Adler! They would be a great gift for your mo$t favorite bride and groom!
And speaking of Jonathan Adler, did you know they are opening up a store in BKLYN? I happened to be walking down Atlantic Ave. in Boerum Hill the other day and spotted the signs. A nice addition to the hood!
